About Us

The Balwyn Blazers Basketball Club is a large, community‑focused junior basketball club in Melbourne, with more than 140 teams for boys and girls aged 6 to 21. As part of the EDJBA (Eastern Districts Junior Basketball Association), the club emphasises skill development, participation, and enjoyment for players of all abilities.

Competition: Competes in the EDJBA, the largest junior basketball competition in Australia.

Seasons: Runs two seasons each year — Winter (School Terms 2 & 3) and Summer (School Terms 4 & 1).

Players: Welcomes everyone from beginners to experienced players, aged 6 to 21.

Training & Games: Teams train once a week in the Balwyn area, with games played on Saturdays.
